Obviously wouldn't want to give his mate a hard time by sending him to a review a decision that if you call it right no one can have any complaints against you. If you can't get a call right after seeing it from 10 different angles and in slow motion then you might be in the wrong job.

It's just an oxymoron as if anything it opens you up to less abuse. Tits the lot of them, just like Clattenberg and the derby it's already been mapped out before you play. We have to be near perfect to win games whereas they can get away with an awful performance and win due to every 60/40 nevermind 50/50 decision going their way.
The problem is if you believe corruptions a thing in our game, you are presented as a tin foil hat type of person, despite it being perfectly logical to assume certain teams get preferential treatment due to them bringing in the most money through foreign fans. There was a concerted attempt to ensure the RS pipped us to 4th spot in 08. Of course as Mourniho pointed out, all the pundits are ex RS or United. You might get a clown such as Richards, Sherwood, Osman or Joe Cole, who don't shake the establishment.

Its good for Brand EPL if the favoured teams that are popular abroad do well, we're expendable.

Case in point this has just popped into my suggested. That second one...I wonder what would have happened the other way around.

Myself literally wont even grunt a reply to someone who believes football just is a sport anymore, Its entertainment with desired money driven outcomes, most teams are warm up acts to the scab six if they can see a way to protect them they will. Its fixed much like boxing is these days for current belt holders.

Way too much money involved in the Premier League for it not to be bent.

So that one yesterday for their goal where an attacker was off side but the pass wasn’t to him…..
in my humble opinion, he was involved in play as his position was dictating our defensive line.
My main question though, is why was he ultimately determined as not off side as the ball wasn’t played to him, yet the disallowed one the other day that deflected of Beto was given as offside, despite again, the ball not being played to him?

I think it would have been unbelievably harsh to go back and disallow that.

Nketiah received the ball direct from the Beto deflection, so was offside.
