Not just one of the worst, but one of the most spineless to boot.Yeah the demise of Refs in the PL coincided with Riley's appointment.
When you have one of the worst as the Head of Refs, no wonder the game is being ruined by bad officiating.

Interesting little post. Its all within point of each other even at this point but we would be in top 10 by ESPN calculations if VAR wasnt a thing.

It’s because they don’t do it as “if VAR had got the correct decisions”. They just do it as “VAR”. So technically we still don’t get the points at Tottenham because VAR wasn’t used.Interesting little post. The other thing with these alternative tables is they can never take into account the longer term effects of an incorrect decision. Like for us, there's this massive monkey on our back about never coming from behind to win and also having really poor away form. If we don't concede that pen at Brighton we could have won consecutive aways, come from behind to win a game, and be on a 5 game unbeaten run having taken 13 points to absolutely shoot us up the table. The difference that could make to confidence levels and belief in the squad and manager as we come into a tough run of games is immeasurable really. It’s because they don’t do it as “if VAR had got the correct decisions”. Also, you have to factor in stuff like with the Liverpool city game, that first handball is actually a 2 goal swing, as well as changing who is in the lead early on in the match. But they will only class that as “1 goal” difference and conclude that VAR had no influence on the game. (Even though since VAR wasn’t used, it wouldn’t count anyway in their table).
Edit: so take these tables with a pinch of salt (that’s why liVARpool are top of this one)
European Cup was the rumbalows cup because they won it, the league is worthless because they look set to win it.
you make yourself look a dope with this stuff.
That said, VAR is rubbish and Sterling looked onside to me just now on motd.

Probably says more about you being a kopite bellend than anything else to be honest mate. So, one decision going against us in an away game caused the team to drop points at home to a struggling Spurs team and also crumble again against the bottom of the league side?
Says more about the mental strength of this group of players than anything else...
