Valente and Castillo Depart

I've never really heard of the non-first team players who've left. Good luck to them though. Glad to see someone at the club is thinking about the playing staff at least!

Jo has gone back to MCFC. They actually phoned us to ask what was happening with him and the rugby man told them no dice. I think DM has a couple up his sleeve but they may only materialise when Lescott goes!!!

Wait..was this a joke? Or......

Good luck to Castillo, seemed like a soft spoken player who did what was asked of him.

I'm sad that Nuno will be leaving. I was hoping that he was going to be assigned a manager/player type thing next year. Although Leighton "Bolt" Baines needs no instructions on how to be boss.

JPK, not all is sweet in Everton land.

Kissock was on the bench a few times this season to be fair, i think Jukebox will go this summer to hopefully we get some wedge for him, again surprised we didnt get any for Kissock or Irving.

You couldnt get more contrasting players then Castillo and AVDM, i feel sympathey for Castillo he played with a smile on his face and really seemed to enjoy being at the club with only good things to say about it, o really liked that. AVDM on the other hand........................................!

Why would that be a joke? Lescott is gone, face it. Perhaps you could use full sentences next time or get someone to help you....

Maybe some one could help you to read the article on the OS where Lescott say's he isn't going anywhere.

Of course I'm a bit disappointed that the lovely Nuno won't be around next season but his departure was inevitable really. Segundo was a happy chappie but hardly set the world on fire when he did get his chance, apart from the Chelsea game perhaps and of course the goal.

Whilst some are wallowing in the doom mongering 'Lescott is gone' charade, I think we need to think about the implications of Nuno's release -
he was back to fitness, would be cover if Baines was injured and with Jags being out of the game until Christmas, there's little chance of Lescott covering the LB position. I know someone has suggested that Rodwell could play at CB but would that not be leaving us as hostages to fortune once again?

So, by my 'the glass is half full' reckoning - Nuno's departure means that Lescott is going nowhere - so there.!

Please, please let me be right!

The wages savings with the clearout could mean a big signing (please) or some incentives for others to stay... who knows ...but one thing we do know is that trying to second guess what DM's intentions are is a waste of time!

bye bye Nuno, the best legs in the Premiership.

Let's hope we sign a tasty piece of beef in the transfer window so that us girlies can feast our eyes once again.(y)

"It is not a question I want to be answering, and no-one has said anything to me other than I am an Everton player

"it is not a question i want to be answering" Doesn't sound too hopeful to me.
City have already bid 12 plus Micah Richards, that was their first try. EFC cannot afford to turn much more down as the player will have had his head turned. I know that DM doesnt want him to go but the club are already resigned to losing him. You don't need to believe me but this has come right from the very top in EFC. Still you can live in your fluffy little world which ultimately leads to disappointment.

Anyway, Good luck to both Castillo and Nuno. Thanks for everything you've done.

good riddence Van der Meyde

Good luck to those who left (yes, even VDM as I for one would like to see him get his life and game back on track.)
