Clock counted down from 90 instead of up from 0 (I think early MLS may have done this too?)

Offside started at 35 yards instead of midfield.

No draws. Games would go to extra time then shootout.

The league really failed though because of financial irresponsibility. Clubs ran up massive wage bills before they could even support them. Expansion teams were created faster than markets could support them. That's why MLS is as locked down as it is.

WTF lol just for the record offside begins at the half way line dependant on how many defending players are in front of the ball. If the ball is played forward there should be at least 2 defenders(including 'keeper) between the ball and by line.(very simplified version)

Can't be offside in your own half mate, no matter how many players there are.
