..can’t recall if Moshiri boosted his 49% share ownership. Perhaps a bit odd if he hasn’t yet done that at this stage. My memory is useless.

Bearing in mind that Usmanov said he would help his mate Moshiri if he needs it, my feeling is this: if Usmanov does not take an official share in Everton, it will be because Moshiri does not need/want it.

That does not mean he won't still help his mate out by sponsoring the club or "helping out" in other ways. Either way is good for us - we have a terrific (soon-to-be) owner with significant financial clout. In addition, if he needs it, Moshiri also has the goodwill and considerable largess of his friend and business partner to call on.

As Moshiri once said, while he is here money will not be a problem.

Yeah, they mention that a 'Usmanov spokesperson' denies the reports but they don't give direct quotes from any spokesperson.



On the other hand, if true, it is interesting that any Charlton interest was denied yet no mention of denial of interest in Everton.
