Like many other posters I think if he's going to invest here (which I'm not sure will happen) it won't be till the stadium is sorted. If he's going to throw in hundreds of millions at the club he wants his project to be new and shiny and competing on a world stage.

Because he has a controversial reputation. We'd never get the funding deal with the council if he was negotiating it. And the stadium is the key for Moshiri/(potentially Usmanov) regime.

I assume he has to stick to his guns until he can't anymore as this has always been his stance, doubt he knows any more than the rest of us regarding Usmanov. We'll all just have to wait and see.

Why would Usmanov buy into Everton? He's a businessman. He can throw all sorts of money at Everton to further his USM brand and continue to tick of Kroenke. He has proxy control via Mosh and any time he wants, Mosh would probably set aside and let Usmanov take over.
