Just reading the highlights of papers through bbc's gossip column, apparently Kroenke wants Henry to take over from Wenger, whereas Usmanov wants Simeone.

You can see why Arsenal fans are fuming. We need good ol' Stan to keep calling the shots for on and off field reasons.

Sounds a load of b*llocks tbh. Paper putting "hated shareholder wanting a rookie manager whilst super rich popular shareholder wants world class manager" together for arsenal clickbait.

Strange
Kroneke is a buisnesman and signing Henry is not a business decision, more a heart decision and kroenke doesn't do heart decisions, he wants a manager who will get CL every year.

What kroenke wants is somebody who'll do things his way. Just existing is making Kroenke money, he's not going to want Simeone as hes far too outspoken and forceful.

Perhaps they just wanted to test the water with FF. If that didn't kick up a stink - which it didn't - then USM steps it up with a shirt sponsorship announcement.

I'm sure most have already read/listened to @The Esk speaking to the Echo on Usmanov, et al (see here if not). Good stuff, as always, but is anyone else surprised/worried at the pronunciation of "the esk" vs "the E-S-K?"

Or am I just an idiot (likely true in any case)? But this seems to me another potential "Day-veK" like divide.

Is this a real thing? I've been reading this for a while on here and a bit elsewhere. Isn't this just us lot adding 2+2 and getting 5? I don't want us looking like some bad kopites. Any actual strength to any of these "rumours"? Not having a pop though folks. Interested to know if this is just a pipe dream or a true vision of our mighty future.
