Usmanov

Well no mate. If Usmanov was involved at Everton we would not be haggling for weeks over a million or two on our top January target as we did with Morgan Schneiderlin. We'd be throwing money at the game's elite.

that would get people watching our every move. they are doing all this on the sly.

im thinking, as soon as the stadium project is announced , confirming that their will be a humungous profit to be made on the back us after it is built, then we will see huge amounts being spent on the team, which will all be or mostly be recoupable in a future sale of the club and stadium.

untill the stadium is annouced and is being contructed then we will not see a huge investment in the squad, just incase the stadium falls thro and the club is not worth half as much in any future sale.

theres noway we will have a squad worth 500m and still be playing at goodison with our only option of a stadium being a retail park shed in stonebridge cross.

I think most of us suspect and acknowledge now that Usmanov has serious interest in Everton. They can't declare he legally owns us, but if he were to sell his shares tomorrow, how long do you think it would be until he formally took over?
Acknowledge nothing without evidence to be honest.
By formal takeover, do you mean 73% (ish) or full blown 100%.
If a total takeover, I would look for BHHL options being exercised, then attempts to get the shareholding over 75% so that a scheme of arrangement could be put in place.
If 73%, as quickly as PL approval can be put in place.
But this is speculation based on him selling Red & White Holdings. He's consistently said that he has no plans to do so, but never say never.

I'm just nodding.

So you are saying if the waterfront stadium falls through there is no Usmanov?

ive added abit to my original post..

we will not be re-salable without a waterfront stadium.

we would perhaps be re-salable with a new stadium elsewhere, but it wouldnt be anywhere near the amount of a waterside, prestigous stadium would bring. in other words not worth the investment i would assume.
