People buy shares all the time in companies that they will never have a say in how they are ran.
Its an investment.
Granted theres safer and more profitable investments out there, but there must surely be a load of Arsenal fans with a spare 300m or somebody that wants to make their name ring out.
This exactly, I fail to see how anyone can be so convinced that selling a 30% share of a massively successful entity such as arsenal would not have buyers, using that logic no company would ever have any shareholders who had no say, where not board members etc. Which is plainly not the case.
And the entire line of thought that anyone buying his shares would be stuck in the same purtlgatory state he has been us missing the reason he is there us down to him and kroenke effectively having a very bitter fight for control of the club, a new investor would not have that baggage.
Hell is there anything actually stopping him putting up the shares for individual buyers, with arsenals fan base they would sell that way even and fast.
