The WR Dean stand, I read he hated getting called Dixie, as it was supposedly a reference to his dark curly hair, so let’s not immortalise it by naming a stand after it.

Maybe someone can set up a poll with a choice of 4 allowed ,to name stands
Goodison stand should be a given really
Then maybe stands named after former players
Kendall ,Harvey ,Ball Dean etc

I would not have the name Liverpool any where near the stadium title, folk especially abroad will confuse it with Liverpool FC.

I think he wasn't pleased when they first started calling him that. Over time I believe he got used to it and broke the negative connotations that were associated.

I most definitely would use the L word. We need to steal it back from that crowd. Might confuse a few people abroad who aren't that clued up on English football, but a state of the art royal blue stadium on the Mersey with the Liver Buildings in the background would soon educate them. I'd love to see the reaction from their supporters, too.
