Upgrade Problems

We needed to upgrade the forums software to rule out one potential reason behind some of the websites recent inaccessibility.


With that upgrade has come the expected problems, mainly;


1. Facebook Connect
2. Moble Style
3. Last Post Feature


Spent a while trying to resolve with no joy. I'm having to throw money at the problem for paid support - but it could take a few days.


Any more problems please report here. Struggling with time so please only genuine problems.

I've always got the pre-reported problem of a large white square blocking out a portion of the page, not really an issue for me, it usually just blocks out someones avatar.

Now though, there seems to be the addition of some sort of text below the square mixing in with the post's text, can't make out what all of it says but "application error" is deffo in there

Around 1542, when the phrase first appeared, "to go to pot" was to be cut up like chunks of meat destined for the stew pot. Such a stew was usually the last stop for the remnants of a once substantial cut of meat or poultry, so "going to pot" made perfect sense as a metaphor for anything, from a national economy to a marriage, that had seen better days. Early uses of the metaphor were usually in the form "go to the pot."

So basically GOT is going to be casseroled.

On a more serious note. If you have to pay to fix the probs then you should let people know how much it costs and give peeps the chance to upgrade their accounts, or whatever.

The notification for a rep seems to have gone, and occasionally a post is unreadable (have I just made that word up?) because it has some other text written over it

In ijjysmith terms, I'm 107.7578% sure I can deal without those features. Sounds a right pain Dan. Living your work though Sir.
