Speaking of film scores, I always thought Williams is the greatest, but is Zimmer over taking him? I am listening to a lot of his stuff in the background lately. Inception is very moving for example.
I like Zimmer, but his stuff his often quite tuneless or something, Williams gives me the good stuff that I can hum. Also, Zimmer has a lot to answer for with those brass blasts.
