Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is in negotiations to star in and produce a remake of John Carpenter‘s cult classic “Big Trouble in Little China” that will be written by “X-Men: First Class” scribes Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz
Johnson is making a deal to play Jack Burton, an all-American trucker who gets dragged into a centuries-old mystical battle in San Francisco’s Chinatown.





This has the potential to be a very good film, if they follow the book.
I think Matt Damon might be the wrong choice though imo,as he's a bit straight laced. The lead character in the book is off the wall and eccentric. I think Sam Rockwell would've been the better choice, as he's specialises in this sort of character and was superb in Moon . Out in the states in Nov, so should land here in the New Year.
Wasn't much interested in this til I saw the trailer. Looks really good! Not sure you could really of had Rockwell precisely because of Moon. Damo looked good in the trailer, tho I haven't read the book so...

Armstrong played by Ben Foster ( not the West Brom goalie ) .
Great cast inc, Chris O'Dowd and Dustin Hoffman.
Armstrong wil receieve no money, lol.
