This has the potential to be a very good film, if they follow the book.

I think Matt Damon might be the wrong choice though imo,as he's a bit straight laced. The lead character in the book is off the wall and eccentric. I think Sam Rockwell would've been the better choice, as he's specialises in this sort of character and was superb in Moon . Out in the states in Nov, so should land here in the New Year.

Wasn't much interested in this til I saw the trailer. Looks really good! Not sure you could really of had Rockwell precisely because of Moon. Damo looked good in the trailer, tho I haven't read the book so...

It's a good read, but heavy in technical detail, so it ain't a particularily light read mate.

" The Program " - due out in the UK at the end of the year .

Based on the book - Seven Deadly Sins, by Irish Journo, David Walsh.

Armstrong played by Ben Foster ( not the West Brom goalie ) .

Great cast inc, Chris O'Dowd and Dustin Hoffman.

Armstrong wil receieve no money, lol.

That is a fantastic book, and he was so right. Armstrong made his life hell but he is a proper journalist.

The echo should take note.
