Anything featuring that miserable arse Craig is going to be terrible. His Bond films are joyless, soulless borefests. TBH, I was really hoping for a black female Bond just for the LOLZ and the furious reactions that would of inevitably followed such a casting. That and the fact that literally NOBODY could be worse the Daniel Craig.

Well firstly it's a really famous book from the 60's which I'd recommend if you want something new to read.

But basically Dune is another name for a planet that Timothée Chalamet's character's dad takes stewardship of, it's a planet that basically tries to kill you, completely inhospitable but also the only place that holds a drug (the spice) that helps with ageing, space travel etc. so it's a planet everyone wants. Lots of political themes, battles, backstabbing, all that good stuff.

I don't think you realise what a big ask a summary of Dune is. Brilliant book, and I'm a fan of David Lynch's much derided 80's adaption, though it's not for everyone. Or most people

Never heard of it Prev, just seen a load of hype for it on Twitter from a few movie accounts I follow

For all its faults (and there are many!), I love the Lynch version.

I mean Hans Zimmer won't let me down in the movie I'm sure but thought they could do better for the trailer! Didn't really set the mood.
