Unpopular opinion

We’re hardly playing Fat Sam footy. You have to play with what you have and we do not have the players to play like Man City. When we do I’m all for a bit of fancy football. Saying that the RS are direct in lots of ways with lots of very quick counter attacking but you wouldn’t say it’s Barca inspired. I’ll be happy with fire and fury, fighting for every ball and when we have it, direct and effective. That doesn’t mean using the long ball, just fast passing with real intention to create chances to score.
Wouldn't disagree with any of that.

Sadly what we're actually doing is the polar opposite, lining up with 2 in central midfield against superior sides with mobile, interchanging midfields.

Right il start us off....My unpopular opinion is we should should use Jonjoe Kenny more. Seamus ain't getting any younger and we should look to rest him and get jjk playing. I think he could surprise a few of us or even boost his market value if we look to sell.
He's not the answer to our rightback problems. A new starting rightback is required asap, January if we can afford it. I remember seeing him in the Windsor on Walton vale in the summer, didn't look out of place in there.

I’d really hope we go to a midfield three. It’s obvious we can’t cope with two. Can’t understand why that’s so difficult for Benitez to grasp.

He flopped at Celtic. And Scottish football is still pretty rubbish (and I’m scottish). I’m afraid he isn’t good enough, can’t holgate play out there?

Kenny's only quality is to link up with an attack in the opposition half. He's completely useless as a defender. Poor tackler and positionally poor.

Benitez wants a FB to defend primarilly at the moment, so wont be turning to JJK any time soon.
Well he might have to if Seamus gets injured, if Jonjo does get a game he will come straight into the first without playing hardly any football this season, a few minutes in the first team and none anywhere else, hardly a recipe for being prepared and being match fit.

I think RB gets sorted FINALLY in January. So, I think in the next 4/5 weeks we can expect to see Coleman and Godfrey slot in.
