Very few memorable songs DON'T have a memorable Intro - but it's good to listen to some that have slipped the mind, or in some cases where never there.
For me it's that first tap on the snare and I know it's The Sultans of Swing.

As for Iconic opening, it has to be the opening chord in A Hard Day's Night...tied with Z Cars
