Brian Labone once said Everton were an unlucky club. For example, we won the First Divison in 1915, then World War One stopped us winning it again. We won the First Division in 1939, and this time World War Two stopped us. We had a great player called Bobby Collins, we sold him to Leeds and bought Tony Kay. Tony was then Banned for life for something he did at Sheffield Wenesday, while Bobby Collins won the Footballer of the year crown. We won the league in1970 then Harry Catterick fell ill and had to pack it in opening the door to Bingham and Lee. 1985 we win the league again, only this time we are booted out of Europe because of the actions of the scum across the park. Add to all this some of the most rediculous refereeing decisions known to man going against us, eg. Clive clueless Thomas, even Collina, 20 years as the best ref in the World, becomes bent in his last match to deny Big Dunc a perfecly good goal. Sorry about this rant, had to get it off my chest.
