About 6 years ago on a bender in Berlin I fell in love with another football club, and tonight they where promoted into the bundesliga. Feels great. The first bit of proper footballing joy since 1995!

I get why it was such a struggle for Union Berlin but it’s absolutely wild only one Berlin team was ever in the top flight there, imagine if like Arsenal was the only London team that was ever in the Premier League. And weren’t there times when Hertha Berlin was down too?
