But I have to say first 30 minutes it was all us. And basically certain players (Cahill, Pienaar, Arteta) dragged us that result.

Probably because he's been so ineffectual mate in the Prem. Didn't manage a single shot against Blackburn, Wolves or Villa.

He's not ready and Moyes has time and again said so. I don't doubt he'l come good. Its a step up and to make it he needs time. For one thing he does have and thats PACE.

So that puts him at an automatic advantage. But he needs to learn some yet and get experience of dealing with defenders - something Cahill's got having seen Vidic see his arse today

Can't believe what I've just seen. Definitely the best match I've watched so far this season, had a slight feeling you'd eventually equalise when it was 3-1. Just incredible. Well in Toffees, could have been 4-3 and all!

Just out of curiosity though, how come Beckford wasn't on today? One of my finest memories of him is running rings around Man Utd's defence, he could have done it again!

They got an early goal, and thus the lead, and then their class and experience comes into play. They sit back, and counterattack. Which they did to great effect.

We got caught out a lot when it was 3-1, but that's what happens. You're already losing, you have to push up and play more dangerously.

Apart from the fact that it was us that took the lead.

Generally, Moyes goes for experience in big matches. Same reason he wasn't ever likely to start with Coleman.

He picked the strongest and most experienced team at hand, from his point of view obviously.

Shame really, I'd hate to see Beckford become a reserve as it would be a waste, you only have to watch the Leeds FA Cup videos from last season to show how well he can play against the big boys.

It's still early on in the season and hopefully he'll get used to the pace of the Premier League. This is a man who knocked out arguably the biggest club in the world in their own back yard, for a side two divisions below them.
