In our defence, we used to get shouted down/ignored by the media whenever we attempted to draw attention to how the club was being run.

Interesting article on F365 today, showing that Brentford - they of 5 minutes of PL status thus far - last night overtook our (PL ever-present) unbeaten run record of a pretty paltry 11 games.

How Everton of us, over 30 years, to never let our fans have more than a couple of months of uninterrupted happiness at a time. The predictable top 5 on that list have all had runs extending over half a season, the top 3 in excess of a full season unbeaten. Even flipping Newcastle made it to 17 games before losing to that lot last month.

Ah well, hopefully we can do better than 11 games in the Championship...
