He was at Arsenal for a year and a bit though. Its not like he really got a chance to change everything (following on from a manager who had been at the club for twenty odd years)

I'm not totally on his bandwagon or anything but I don't think he should be dismissed out of hand either purely because of what happened at Arsenal in a difficult position and a short amount of time. He has won 3 Europa Leagues and managed at PSG and Arsenal for a reason.

I forgot he was in Russia for a while, that was a weird move for him.

Good point actually. Following after a dynasty can be a poisoned chalice.

I still believe we need an utter lunatic with great motivational skills at the helm rather than a quiet tactician.

Possibly. Not a lot of managers like that around these days.

If Moshiri stays true to form, this guy is our next manager.
His obsession with Arsenal is uncanny, must think he is still there.
Chose Koeman - because he was Arsenals number one target to replace Wenger.
Chose Silva- as he once watched his Olympiakos team beat Arsenal 3-2

That's not how it works though is it? You don't just take a manager and expect to get the last position he was in. (The last he finished in was 5th which I woudl take right now...)

Personally I think he is a good manager who has landed in the wrong job at the wrong time.

I don’t think we will want him anyway. He needs to go to la liga were it works

Out of all the games we had coming up I fancied us at home against emery’s arsenal.not so sure now, they will no doubt to a spurs and go on a winning streak

The links seem a bit tenuous at first glance ....but I like your reasoning, Mr. B :pint2:
