Ultimate bottlers (all moaning here)

Just went on Barkley's twitter. His message under his name on his profile for all to see? "I like positive people".

Might be time to renew my shirt. Got an old Umbro/Danka top. Love it and it's felt lucky in the past but I realised today that I probably last wore it in the 2009 final. Not binning it but not wearing it for matches again.

Moyes told the players what to do second half, in the first half when we were passing it around we were the better of the two teams, once we sat back it was inevitable we were going to lose, regardless of Distin's mistake. If Andy Carrol was actually a footballer then we would have lost by at least 3 goals again.

Nailed it. The 2nd half tactics blew. This blue squad is better than that red one. We should be the ones owning possession and taking a stranglehold on the match, running them ragged. But we don't have belief. Obviously Moyes doesn't. We resort to 50 yard, launch-and-hope bs tactcis - guaranteed to lose possession 50% of the time - 40% if we are dominating the air. Quit playing scared and start playing, dang it.

Nothing is going to change.

After going to Wembley and having our hearts broken again by Liverpool its clear to see nothing is going to change until investment. We will never ever be able to seriously challenge for anything unless we get money to spend.
We scratch around for loans, cheap deals and then sell our better players to pay off the debt we owe the bank.
We will always be second to the Liverpool and other clubs who can afford to spend money on awful players and still beat us when it counts.

Wouldn't blame Moyes, Fellaini, Heitinga and even Jelavic if they wanted to leave us because were not going to do anything anytime soon until we get money.

Harsh but true.

Disagree completely.

I have no doubt that team could challenge for top 5. You also have other young players like Gueye, Vellios, and Duffy coming up through the ranks to take over from Neville, Cahill etc.

If the board could find a way to satiate the banks for one season and also give Moyes £10m to spend in one transfer window that would take us a long, long way. £3m on Peanuts and £7m on an RM.

I should become a manager ffs, this is easy.

But on a serious note, for the past two or three seasons we've only been 2 or 3 players away from consistently challenging for Europe. Getting Jelavic, Gibson and Pienaar back for what will eventually total about £9m has boosted us massively, and Heitinga has come in and totally bolstered our defense.

The RB issue needs to be solved by Moyes pronto though, our lop sided attacking play is a massive problem, something which you'll only sort out by getting a more attacking RB in place.
