Ukip represent the role media plays in modern UK Britain.
Ukip aren't relevant, they never have been relevant. They have never had any real support politically , never in any danger of getting any power and their numbers are always going to be limited in a largely not racist society.
Yet don't we all just know about them? Farage is paraded like a national hero at times , ukip stories fill newspapers , their marches get on the 6 o clock news etc.
The sooner the likes of these are not given the paper space or airtime to promote their beliefs the sooner noone will be arsed about them.
