But Starmer, but Starmer, but Starmer...like a long playing record, glad some other posters are starting to see it.
I think the thing is that if the Tories hadn't been so dire, Labour under Starmer wouldn't stand a chance. History has told us that true socialists like Foot and Corbyn are unelectable so they have to go with centre right shopwindow dummies like Blair and Starmer. A sad indictment of modern Britain.

My conscience tells me that if I abstain from voting I am potentially allowing another 5 years of the worst and most corrupt government in history.

What part of that are you failing to grasp?
How? Are you in a marginal constituency? Even if you're in a constituency with a 15,000 official Tory Party majority, Red Tory will get in with ease.

You've denied what is clearly true about galloway them made stuff up about starmer to present as fact. Your bad faith attitude towards discussion precedes you and is why people are either inclined to disagree or laugh at anything you regardless of if it has merits.
How did I deny anything about Galloway? I conceded it. Then I listed known decisions on Starmer's watch as DPP...and his leadership of a racist 'Labour' Party which the Forde Report underlines to be true...a report that Starmer wanted buried...then he wanted people who'd released its findings early taken to court and charged...then he dropped that idea...but he won't ever implement the Forde Report recommendations.

You have no answer to these issues. It's like you believe 200,000 people have left the LP under Starmer with zero reason for doing so, when the reasons are obvious.

I'll never vote for a racist party, be that Starmer's 'Labour', the official Tories, Reform, UKIP or any fascist or nazi organisation.

Eh? I don't think he said that. However it's clear he's kow-towing to the Muslim voters he looks to garner votes off.

But at least I acknowledge these things about Galloway, whereas you and others turn a blind eye to Starmer's record as a spy-cops rapist enabler, waver-through of army toruture and Met assassinations on London;s underground...not to mention leadership of a party that's been bang to rights as a racist organisation in an official report...a report published on his watch that he won't put the recommendations of into practice.

Guess who wins this argument if you want to go down that flawed leadership route?

You are a cartoon.

As a Labour voter all my life, I see it as the lesser of two evils. And the Tories are definitely evil as evidenced from Boris onwards. Arrogant, self-seeking, bunch of toffs.

True Starmer is the lesser of two evils, but that's the saddest thing about it,when there is no socialist party you can vote for.

I don’t think he necessarily is the lesser of two evils.

The country urgently needs positive change, and he is proclaiming he is going to deliver it. I hope and pray he does that.

If instead of delivering that positive change he does what that ilk of centrists did when they were in government under Blair, and what they’ve done when in charge of Labour (ie: change things to benefit themselves) then this country is screwed.

People will not be able to believe that it’s possible to change things for the better via an election - and that means they’ll try other means to do so. In short, heads, spikes, walls.

I honestly think you're right on that view, it's a view I hold myself, not one that agrees with my principles either. This is the cut, it's not just Starmer I'm hoping the majority of the MP'S in the Labour Government will hold him accountable and force him to adapt to what to historic Labour policies. It is going to be difficult for whoever gets in considering our National debts being quadrupled, thanks again, Boris, Truss and Sunak but not overnight but hopefully in the near future, Labour adopts the more kinder policies and laws that effect the poorer parts of our nation. Health Service, Education etcetera.
