Seems a strange decision by the PM to bring forward an election that he is certain to lose

The "good news" regarding inflation is being pushed hard, they wont get a better chance.
The longer they wait, the more chance of them dropping another bollock increaes.

I'm surprised he's not leaving it till England have won the tournament.
I suppose there is no good time to call an election when you are 20 points behind in the polls.
But I still don't really get it from their perspective. The only way labour don't win is if they have an absolutely disastrous campaign. And let's be honest, it's much more likely to be the Tory campaign that goes badly wrong.
