Election night is going to be weird.

I can drink to the Tory weasels getting pasted, and drown my sorrows that Starmer will be the new PM at the same time.

Same! It feels like a less extreme version of the US election. Our two options both openly back genocide and I have to vote for the least wank option based upon the rest of their politics

They could have hired a temporary awning or a gazebo. You know, like you do when you have a barbecue in your back garden. They had all day to sort it out. They knew it would be raining all day. Nobody in their right mind would expect the PM to stand out in the pouring rain.

Never hired an awning or gazebo for a barbeque - I don't have barbecues in crap weather.

You're quite right though, nobody in their right mind expects him to stand in the rain. But the reactive point scoring within and around politics isn't based on being in the right mind.

Just had a quick look through that little bundle of fun him isn't he, should imagine if I met him I would be thinking about the quickest way to smash his head in within minutes in my head. While trying to exit as quickly as possible from his company.
