Personally think it’s a decent ish idea, the idea of promotion and relegation. As a follower of Wales i have been to most of the countrys we can get drawn against though.

Really not sure about this new competition. But as I swerve most international games anyway it is immaterial to me.

What's the point though if they get pretty much nothing out of it unless they get to the top league were they then can possibly get a spot in the Euros from it. That's what I got from it listening to the radio before. Plus they will never get there so just seems all a bit pointless.

I think the groups lower down are guaranteed a spot - that's why they expanded the Euros to 24 teams.

I was reading this about Malta this morning and mentions the possibility of lower ranked countries qualifying for the Euros.

It will be fine when it gets going even if it seems a bit convoluted at this early stage. There is plenty of incentive there do do well with promotion/relegation and a play-off spot to aim for, and also a trophy for the winners. Good idea which will hopefully replace meaningless friendlies.
