UEFA Euro 2028 - 5 games at BMD

We`ll never get to know. There`s a small chance it could happen, but only if England slip up and don`t win their group, and Wales have to qualify first before it becomes an issue.
With 2nd place in most qualifying groups enough to get to the finals + 2 free passes for any of the host nations not qualifying automatically via the group stage, Wales will be there.

How does it work in terms of caps for the Euro 2028 mate? Do we all reset to 0 caps after the world cup?

Caps usually are sliding to incorporate a WC & Euro Campaign

2026: Euro 24 & WC 26 Campaign (WC22 goes)
2028: WC 26 & Euro 28 (Euro 24 goes) and so on..

So anything accrued from ROI away in Sept '24 will be active.

Given the farce of the World Cup, and its dynamic pricing... UEFA have announced their intentions for the Home Euros in 2028, including the 5 games at BMD.
This is why I am happy to be European. We have plenty of our own faults, and UEFA are basically FIFA-lite, but Europeans, in general, won't tolerate this American extremism that we will all witness this summer.

The pricing of tickets is credit to them but I think they could improve on the number of tickets available to fans of competing teams and the general public. "Yes" they have to look after 'the suits' and perhaps players families. etc. but what they're proposing means around 600,000 tickets, reserved for this.

That's a lot of greased palms but even so this and everything else they're proposing puts FIFA to shame over their shenanigans with both the WC and CWC.

Interesting that they are setting themselves up as a competitor would.

If UEFA could tempt Brazil and Argentina into a breakaway competition, FIFA would be done.

I would say so.

10,000 for each nation too, means with a bit of know-how, thats a lot of tickets available for the regular punters.

I went the Euros last time round, did 6 games including the final and the most i paid was €85, very lucky, but still very doable.
