[Poor language removed] it'd be awesome to face some of those sides, we could really test our steel vs good European opposition. I must say though, this UEFA cup will be way more testing than the one we played in this year.

Aren't FIFA planning on tinkering with next season's UEFA Cup , changing the format somehow ?

And i'm lucky enough to have witnessed AC Milan play at Goodison, great atmosphere that night,burning Milan flags, the lot .

UEFA 2008/09

Pretty generous of UEFA to give Valancia and Dortmond places in next year's competition seeing as they finished 12th and 13th respectively in their leagues! Maybe they did well in their country's Fair Play league? Maybe not....:dodgy:

Valancia and Dortmond might not be, but Valencia and Dortmund are definitely in next years UEFA Cup.

Valencia won the Copa Del Rey. And Dortmund got in through a cup competition.

All in here for the time being lads :D

Dortmund, Ajax, AC Milan, Sevilla, Valencia, Sampdoria, PSG, Hamburg, Benfica, Feynoord, CSKA Moscow...

I really do hope we get AC at some point, I really do think we would slaughter them, especially at Goodison.

This site should come in handy;

Sevilla over take 4th place on the last day and it all thanks to Valencia beating the 4th place team to allow Sevilla to over take them on goal difference, so they are going to CL unless they lose in the 3rd round qualify round.

But surely some exciting team in the draw but we won't meet then 1st round and most of them in the group stage

You sure mate? Could have sworn Sevilla finished 5th? :oops:

Yep, that's the only reason I watch the Sunday game, Seville was 3 points behind with better goal difference but was defeated in the 1800 kick-off and Seville kick off 2000 knowing 3 points would get them 4th place.

Sevlle did went behind 3 mins into the match due to the PK but they level up before half time and won 4-1 at the end and finish 4th place.

Although Sky is lazy and not update the final day but you could see what I mean as Atletico Madrid loses to Valencia.
