I would think the opposite, he would prefer to be started the next match(as he has been in the last couple) to show hes valued, and then George can come off the bench to ease into it.

I mean I doubt Moyes is going to immediately remove his chosen starter for a young player who has yet to train.

Does it matter ? A debut goal is a debut goal, it was his first appearance in an Everton shirt and he scored, that can't be taken off him, so it counts in my view.
