You can see he has ability. But just seems really.. in his shell. Dunno if it's a belief thing or a fitness thing. Feels like he needs to assert himself on the game more

He did alright today, some positive moments, just can’t believe we’ve spent 40m on him (not his fault) when the squad needed so many other additions..

For me now, he carries more threat on the right than Dwight.

If Jack is back for Forest, then get Tyler starting on the right.

Glad to see him have got good amount of time on the pitch. Funny as well that he came under the same issues Grealish and Ndiaye get where he's just left to stand up to two defenders on his own cause our full backs offer zero threat so teams dont even bother covering them. Hope if nothing else it settles him down to start improving over time.

Agreed, mate. I think if Grealish had FBs who played through, he’d still hold up and do his twinkle toes. I think Tyler is more goal-minded. His slowing down play was for the same lack of support. I just felt like he wants to go for goal whereas Jack wants to go for assists. Time will tell.

No need to get a stiffy yet. He was ok. He's never gonna win us games on his own yet, especially not in that dog dirt line up.

Still, we can all calm the f down now he's had a start.

There's clearly a player in there, hopefully Moyes and co can start developing him.

Today will help. One of the key things for Moyes (and young players in general) will be that he's not a liability and he wasn't today

I feel sorry for the lad. The repeated failure to sign a RB has left him in an invidious position, having to play a position that he's actually pretty ill suited for. I assume that we'll go yet another transfer window without signing one, though. It's really weird.
