Felt like Barkley vibes from Moyes was last here. He’s probably terrified if he does anything too risky / gives the ball away he’s getting dropped.
Let the lad go and play in the final third. He was decent when he got on the ball today for me

One positive, I guess, from the game is that Moyes had some positive words to say about Dibling. Hopefully next game and it'll be McNeil dropped instead of him when Grealish is back.

Good first half, never loses the ball or gives it away, definitely a player there just needs games. He doesn’t look short of confidence, I think he definitely knows what he can do, he just seems scared. I think with him it is definitely an age/maturity thing.
Maybe if he`d not just been sat on the bench since he signed he might be more settled in and producing more. Moyes knew Ilman was going off in December for the African Cup but waited until he left before trying some other options on the right. Great planning by Moyes.I think there's potential but my biggest worry is that he's regressed since he's joined us. Yesterday was fine for a lad his age, but the price tag makes you think there should be more than what we're getting right now.
If we're bringing up Barkley though...have to say Dibling is nowhere near his level.
