He will from the Arsenal game with Ili gone, don’t think Moyes fully trusts McNeil with starting games

We certainly could. And yeah things don’t always go according to plan and he’s a long way from a write off or anything, but maybe with the squad we have it was too much to spend on one player full stop.

Should have left him there on loan for a season and reduced the fee.
Makes zero sense that Armstrong needs games and this kid doesn’t.

He could play a similar role to Alex Scott for Bournemouth, here. He’s never a winger but can carry the ball, go past players and find forward passes

People making too much of Moyes making predicate Moyes subs. Said the same when he didn't get on against manure, he's not getting on ahead of McNeil with the game in the balance.

Love it or hate it (I don't like it) that is reality of how Moyes manages.
