…..it’s not complicated, Moyes will select the most effective cover he has for Ndiaye and at the moment it’s looking like McNeil will be the one.
We’d all like it to be Dibling but you can’t make it something it isn’t. McNeil is fine if he returns to the form he was in at times in the last 18 months or so.

The problem Dibling has currently is that it's better for a player like him to get 45 minutes of a game rather than 5 minutes. It won't do a lot for his development to get those bit part minutes. I think we will start to see more of him when Ndiaye goes to AFCON and we will perhaps have a Barry/Beto rotation for a while with him and whoever else plays on the right where they have a half each until he gets up to fitness and can play the majority of the game until Ndiaye gets back.

Hard to tell, though I'd guess two things:
1: Moyes considers McNeil to be more experienced which he tends to favour
2: Moyes thinks Mcneil is superior defensively

Dibling is certainly behind JG and IN, he has room to learn from them under no pressure. Mcneil has done a tidy job in the last couple of seasons, albeit not too good this season but uf he gets game time, finds a bit of his form, we may get more for him when we sell him on. Dibling needs to view it as an opportunity to learn from these guys out of the limelight, his time will come and he'll be better for the background work
….i’ve mentioned this before but it seems a while since I’ve seen the club releasing pics or training clips of Dibling via their social media outlets, especially given he was a ‘big signing’.

I think there's some truth to this. He's not a guy you're looking to see out the last 10 minutes of a game. For that, you're looking more for tried and true veterans, especially if you have the lead.
However, he's probably more suited to starting and see how he does for a half.
Was thinking last night that that team is 2 first team players away from being really competitive. The midfield we had on the pitch at the start is fantastic, Pickford is great and the centre backs are good enough. The issues are basically our full backs and our striker. Really strange that, in particular, we didn’t try and get a better full back in
He looked pretty glum on the tunnel video after last night, Grealish whoopin’ and a hollerin’ behind him…..
I'm hoping it's just keeping him out the way and letting him settle. He's obviously a talented player but Southampton to Everton is a big move for someone so young. He's not swimming in a small pond now so will need to adapt a bit.

We were defending a 1 goal lead with 10 men. I wouldn't read that much into Moyes opting for the more experienced player in that scenario.
It's December next week and he's played 62 league minutes. I think if you're still clinging onto the idea Moyes doesn't want to rush him in, you're clutching at straws.
