2025/26 Tyler Dibling

Don't know where this myth about KDH not being a 10 came from. He's played there for years now and it's when he moved there that he became the level of player he is now.

Will agree I'd be really interested to see him at CM and Garner at RB for the added passing it would bring to the side, but I think we'd lose too much defensively for Moyes to do it

I'd play N'Diaye on the left, Grealish as the 10 and Dibling on the right this weekend but I suspect we'll see Grealish on the left N'Diaye on the right and Dibling on the bench. I assume Iroegbunam will come in for KDH but I suppose there is a slim chance he plays Alcaraz there.
That would be a disgrace if he plays Tim

Not a long term solution for
Me, KDH in the 10,
He doesn’t really score goals, he does run at players but he can’t go past yhem
like Ndaiye, Dibbling, Grealish etc and even Alcaraz would be more of an attacking threat.

He's absolutely fantastic at linking everything together though which is more important I think. If we had CMs that could actually pass forward to him he'd shine even more.

But its puts a lot of pressure on the front 3 as he doesn’t score many, neither do the Cmids. And Grealish doesn’t. So we may have 2 players getting close to
10 goals. Maybe he can stay there, but you would need more goals from the front 3 next season

Well he’s played way more games in midfield or left of a midfield 3 than as a 10, which he hasn’t actually played lots.

Transfermarkt is fairly loose with these things. A good amount of those CM appearances will be the as the furthest forward of a 3 which is pretty blurry as to when people call it an 8 or a 10 still. Have a look at his positions in the pictures here under Maresca at Leicester which is when he really went up a level: https://learning.coachesvoice.com/cv/enzo-maresca-tactics-chelsea-leicester-city-parma/

I'd still be really curious to see him at CM for us though, just as an experiment. Often players get better at playing further back as they get older because of more experience reading the game etc. I just don't think it's right to say he's 'out of position' as a 10.
