I know it counts for very little but my mate and lad went along to the open training day and said Dibling stood out, for touch & finishing. He absolutely hasn’t covered himself in glory when offered opportunities, and maybe Moyes is trying to bring him away from the shy & unassuming kid he appears to be. I certainly haven’t given up hope on the lad, his spell at Southampton prove she has ability. However, unlike Southampton who were doomed, Moyes won’t give him access to play as a free spirit and simply go out and enjoy his football. Maybe his attitude has been poor behind the scenes, maybe he hasn’t worked hard enough etc. I am nailing my colours to the mast that this lad absolutely comes good for us, he’s too talented not to. Rohl has been forced to wait it out and finally showcased his potential, Dibling will follow suit. Major pre season ahead for the lad however.

He's hugely talented, wanted by all the big clubs as a teenager and it was a coup bringing him here. Fans writing him off and saying we should sell him for 10 million really have no idea about what a potential asset he is for us. Moyes hasn't been the right manager for him that's clear and I'm confident with a different coach with different methods he'd shine a lot more

Moyes won’t sell him because he won’t want to risk him going elsewhere and thriving, further adding to the impression he hasn’t got a clue how to manage these young new signings.

No issues myself selling him if we don’t think he’s gonna cut it here. Obviously talented but got personal doubts about his ability to thrive away from home.

Yet the big clubs didn’t bid for him (I’m aware he was at Chelsea).
Mainly I think, because they play very quick, high press wingers, and Dibling very much isn’t that.

I’d like to see him be tried at 10 in pre season.
