This simply isn’t true. Their local press who have the closest ties to them have always been consistent that they want a minimum £40m fixed and around £50m all in. The Radio Solent guy in particular is really well connected and worth checking out. Others saying different things at different times doesn’t make it true.

It's Evertons fault the second they bid 40 after they move the goalposts if that's the case. We look exactly as Moyes said, desperate.

I think we missed a trick with Ndoye who went to Forest personally. I'm not sure what the situation is with Zhegrova at Lille, we were linked with him at the start of the summer, similar sort to Kubo but don't think he would cost as much.
