No it's £42m plus add ons were it was £45m plus add ons, plus it's 20% sell on instead of 25% add ons. Not a great deal but still better. But it should have been done earlier I'll give you that.
I think 42m might include add ons?

I believe if extras are achieved it'll turn out being something like £48m in total should all aspects be successful, thereby surpassing the Iceland fee. So 20% of any profit on what we'd paid at that point. We get what we want and end up paying the full amount (all add ons) then say sell for £50m then I'm not sure anyone's to bothered about 400k going to southampton.
It's all hypothetical anyway, he'll end up like Douglas Bader before he captains England to WC glory whilst on the Everton books.
Or there was some urgency because suddenly a few other sides were looking for replacements for their recently departed players...Cos no one was interested in paying what we were willing to pay.
So someone at the club really really wanted him.
Seems that way .It's almost as if the selling clubs have pressure to sell, just as the buying clubs have pressure to buy.
They waited to see if a market developed for him, it didn't, and now they need to buy for their season in the Championship.
Jonathan Wilkes was the fella…he was one of my neighbours in London.
Talk about ego…
It means…Southampton's media connections are saying we have gone back and paid what they wanted. What does that mean?
Yeah it would be, say we sell on in a few years for £120m for example, that would be £78m profit for us with Saints getting just under £16m from itI'm pretty sure sell on fees apply to profit, not full fees. I think there's quite a bit of misunderstanding on them.
vise did me, so I went and checked the script. There are many magic words in this world @Rita_Poon and none of them should be used lightly. Flippantly is another matter...
I'm struggling to get excited, tbh. I want to.
Where is the pace?
The under 21s and Paul TaitOk. So we have the right winger now
What else can we moan about.
Spurs and palace clearly didn’t come forward with the offer his agent mootedIsn't that essentially what was on offer about 3 weeks ago?
