23rd of March 2008. Tonyrefail Under 15s v Pontypool Under 15s.

Two weeks before my debut for the Welsh Under 15s (Schools) in a Friendly against Canada Under 15s (Schools) I tore my knee cartilage after a rash tackle in the middle of the park from my own teammate (Massive Mixup) . Had to leave the game all together because if I didn't stop my knee cartilage would of worn away.

Three of the players in my District team have gone on to play for the Welsh Rugby Union Under 17s/18s this season.

Depressing day ahead of me.

That sounds bad , old cock . I know a few people who would have been good sportsman if not for injuries . The guy sitting right next to me used to play football with mark swartzer and represented aus before his knees stuffed up . Bad luck there , I am sure their is something else you will be good at .

Me arl fela was at Wolves , late 50's - they were the first English team in European Cup . He did BOTH cartlidges in 12 months . Finished him . Years later , I saw Joe Mercer at Cammell Lairds watching Peter Davenport . Me arl fella egg's me on to ask the great man if he knows me Da .
Eventually , I have it . Mr. Mercer says , " Go back and tell your Da , that he was the finest un-capped centre forward I ever saw !!! " FACT .
Big D lived out on that one for a while
