BT Sport is showing a new documentary about Merseyside in the 1980s – footy success against a backdrop of social unrest – on 30 March.
Could be good, though Pete Wylie and Ian McCulloch are in it.
 


As much as love the Bunnymen, McCulloch is a massive bellend, made much worse by the way he constantly bangs on about the RS,

I never knew that Wylie was as blue, but that doesn’t change the fact that he’s totally bonkers and not in a good way,

That good ol’ Blue, Degsy, should feature prominently as well lol

But knowing BT and the Kopite tendency at its heart, I bet the events at Heysel will be either airbrushed or whitewashed.
 

Read a book "Two Tribes" recently by RS journalist Tony Evans. About the 1985/ 86 season. Documentary could be based on the book?
