rumours on kipper (from a sunderland forum) are saying we have a pre contract agreement for Adam Johnson (boro). this would be a great signing. a young skillfull, fast english winger. (y)

Who has failed to show much in the championship this season. Scored some goals early on.... Also better on the left than the right... think we have enough there.

There was muttering somewhere (can't remember which site) about Danny Fox who is supposed to be leaving Celtic for Burnley waiting for us to step in. Would help with cover for Baines, tbh.

But in numbers we would still be a striker down. Not convinced either with the age of Beckford, him doing well in the prem. If he had really been any good would have been snapped up long ago. (n)

Life isnt fair...if it was we'd have Van Der Vaart, Huntelaar, Fernandes, Moutinho, Riquelme all turning out in Blue Jerseys
