Two Different Paths, Jags and Lescott

Some nonsense in this thread. Manchester City fans continue to consider Lescott's time at City to have been nothing other than very successful. They have a 3 page thread in which they are all sad that he is leaving and wish him all the best, whilst thanking him for playing an integral part in taking City to the next level. He isn't an afterthought at City at all.

And I would say his decision to leave a club that has won absolutely nothing since his departure, for the most domestically successful club in England over the past 3 years has been well vindicated, and I struggle to see how people would think otherwise.

Is three pages a lot for a City forum?

Not sure if already posted but I just read that Lescott is having a medical at West Brom and will become Alan Irvines first signing. Good signing for Alan that will def improve them.

Cause he could have been a hero at Everton mate, and it's quite clear from actions of all footballers in recent times that THAT is the only thing that matters to them.

Apart from Lescott who wanted success, medals, world class team mates, club football at the highest level, a new challenge, more money and to hear Blue Moon every other week.

...I think its easy to be too passionate about these things. Jagielka is a top pro and didn't rocked the boat when Arsenal came calling. Lescott's head was turned with mega bucks offer from City and the prospect of honours. I don't know what might have happened had Jags been the City target, but if tempted I think he would've gone about making the move happen it in a different manner.
