TV Series

Dr Statham is one of my favourite characters, his mental relationship with the HR woman is great.

Not sure if you watch Friday Night Dinner but he plays just as big a mentalist in that alongside another ex Green Wing actor.

Yeh I'm starting to think maybe that's just him in real life now haha. The HR woman is my favourite character in Green Wing by far; incredibly funny.

It made me feel ancient though remembering watching Tamsin Greig on GW and now she's the mum on Friday Night Dinner!

It's hard to think it's the same person and seems a lifetime ago that she was on Green Wing. The dad from Friday night dinner is in Chernobyl, I haven't seen it yet but sure I read that he was pretty decent in that, it's hard to imagine when I've only known him from FND.

Yeh I watched FND before Chernobyl and it was weird but he's great in it. Definitely get Chernobyl watched though as it's one of the best TV pieces ever.

It's on an ever increasing list of things I need to get round to watching, including Better Call Saul amongst others.

Just watched the first episode of Gangs of London. I was expecting this to be [Poor language removed] but it was so good. First ep is directed by Gareth Evans who made the Raid. The fights scenes in it are brutal.

Just finished the Netflix series, "Too Hot For Sex". Lost loads of brain cells along the way but was actually a very easy watch. Finished in 1 night

Trying to educate missus to give watching a series a whirl instead of random films which, to date, are a mixed bag.
I seem to recall a few shouts for Queen of The South. We enjoyed both Sicario films and the drug cartels. Is it worth a go?
