TV Series

Tried watching bodyguard and first episode of line of duty and for me British drama just doesn’t cut it, always feels low budget and underwhelming. We should stick to what we are good at, nature docs and comedy,

The obviously answer is it they are much lower budget. Bodyguard is pretty bad and the first series of Line of Duty was a fair while ago.

There a few joint BBC/AMC shows such as Little Drummer Girl and Killing Eve which are good and higher budget. Pose is currently on BBC2 and is great although that is an FX show. I think the BBC will carry on with these joint things are they do seem to be trying to crack the US.

I'm still liking Billions, after a slight change in direction, S4 is going along nicely.
hmmm season 4 been a big disappointment for me..

and i'll wait on the line of duty being the best out there..

the last season was horrendous with thandie newton in it.

will judge this season when its finished

Having just finished a Marathon of All the episodes of Breaking Bad, and having previously done the same thing with The Wire, what would you recommend for my next Tellyathon ?

I remember hearing The Shield mentioned so that looks to be a contender, not so sure about Dexter ? Does it not all get a bit 'same same' like CSI ?

Anyway, answers on a Post please.
I'm up to S4 with Dexter and its ok and I hear tell theres a series with John Lythgow as the 'villain' which is ok too, so why not give it a go.
