Missus bought me The Wire on Bluray for Christmas and I've been hitting it hard the last few days. About halfway through the second series and it's still amazing with so many things I'd completely forgot about.

Right, I was smashing through The wire a couple of years ago when laid up.
I never finished it, and due to some heavy medication, I can't exactly remember how far I got into it. ( deffo saw the female copper get shot though ).
Now, I'm wondering whether to start from scratch or sort of guess where I was at ?
Idris Elba wasn't even famous when I was watching it ffs.. and now I will probably just think of the characters as those played in The Deuce.

You can rejoin easily enough.. But always worth starting again esp if you were smacked up. Probly missed some good bits!
The shooting was towards the back end of Season 1 so you weren't that far in. I watched it the first time round without any medication and there's a lot in there I'd forgot about.
Seen an advert for a remake of Das Boot on Sky last night. They seem to have shoehorned a female role or two in there which is a bit weird when I think back to the original. I was only half watching though so there could be perfectly good reasons rather than lazy tokenism.
It's not a re-make, it's a sequel - set around 9 months after the original. I only started watching it last night and I've only seen 2 episodes so far. There are 2 story lines - one on the U-Boat, the other relating to the French Resistance around La Rochelle. I thought it was OK, but not a patch on the original film.
Just finished series 2 of the Punisher.
Not as good as the first, as it’s strayed away from the original plot massively.

Going back to line of duty . On series 2 . The first series was good but I stopped halfway through 2 so I’m giving it another go.
Finished Narcos Mexico. Crap for the most part . The last 2 episodes were superb though .
