So, so, so utterly wrong Joey. The Last Kingdom is a rushed mess which totally fails to do the source material (that IS better then Vikings) justice.

Vikings is clearly the better show and only a bad wool would say otherwise!;)

I am not a wool- The last Kingdom historically it is better as the people around the mythical character are accurate- the Vikings older series is becoming poor after a great run - it's looking more like the game of thrones every episode - also the stars rating is now falling as this last half series has been pathetic, I am going by my son here who is into history -i know the viking stories are mythical but our English kings were recorded and King Alfred's brother was a right hand man to him not an enemy .....
As for being a wool - you could be no further than the truth My father was born in Vauxhall road off Scottie road where the police went around in two's in those days.......

It was a joke Joe, I know you're no wool mate!;)

There's to many historical inaccuracies to count in The Last Kingdom. I wouldn't even know were to start! The vast bulk of the characters who are based on real people are horribly inaccurate in 99% of cases. Hell they aren't even an accurate reflection of Bernard Cornwells books were he often took justified historical liberties for the sake of the story flow.

I appreciate that Vikings make plenty of historical mistakes to but not even close to The Last Kingdom. Hell they don't even try to make people look historically accurate in most cases. I like both but in terms of historical accuracy Vikings blows the Last Kingdom out of the water.

I would recommend reading the books The Last Kingdom is based in though Joey, they're must better then both shows combined imo.

watched a few episodes of vikings and thought it was soapy trash, thought last kingdom had much better drawn characters...obviously they are both a bit silly

How far in did you go? It gets very good. Perhaps I'm a little harsh on The Last Kingdom because the books are so vastly superior to the tv series, which are fantastic. Just my opinion of course but for me Vikings is miles ahead of The Last Kingdom.
 
Just finished - Narcos Mexico ( Narcos 4 ).

It took a while to get getting and felt a little flat with to start with tbh, but picked up as it went on.

Well put together and some great performances from Diego Luna and Michael Pina, in the leads.

Not as violent as the other three, but the next one will be, as the USA declares "it`s war on drugs "

maybe i should try it again, it just seemed a silly show that thought it was a serious show
