Watched the first episode of The Expanse but found it boring, cliched and with cartoony-CGI.

I'm a big fan of BSG...does Expanse get near that or is it just soap opera in space?

ive not seen BSG but i really liked the expanse, its definitely flawed but gets better as it goes on

Has anybody watched Mr. Mercedes ? First series is a fairly standard but reasonably well done serial killer type thriller, the second is completely different and goes in a very different direction. It’s based on novels written by Stephen king so it’s not a huge shock on that respect but I just didn’t expect it and honesty don’t know what to make of it really .

It’s based on novels written by Stephen king so it’s not a huge shock on that respect but I just didn’t expect it and honesty don’t know what to make of it really .

Apart from The Green Mile and Shawshank, Kings stuff is mostly better in the original writen form...IMO obvs.
Edit: oh and maybe The Shining.

Trying to work out where it’s headed and can’t quite place the timeline in relation to Breaking Bad. The super lab is well on the way, but Gus is only on seven branches of Los Pollos Hermanos compared to the fourteen in Breaking Bad.

It's okish in fact quite good when you get into it , the acting carries it - series one was brilliant series two more like Stephen King style story.... still worth a watch.....
