We were watching an episode of Inspector George Gently. It was set in the 1970s and my wife suddenly says "They didn't have those type of window frames in the 70s". She's always doing it. Window frames, suits, ties, shoes, wallpaper, you name it. I asked her if she used to go and see magic acts and call out "It's up his sleeve!" when she was a child.

Does anyone else watch TV with an eagle-eyed member of the fashion police?

Started up the latest season of "Power". Copious sex, gratuitous violence, mountains of dust, soap-opera level acting, hip-hop soundtrack....

NEA - it's a great waste of time.

Yup.
Its not about being picky, Its a futile cry against the Ignorance of mainly youngish writers who think that because a thing was there for as long as 'they' can remember, Its always been there...arrogance and poor research.

7 episodes in myself and they have really lost their way with it.hard to see them knocking another season out of it.pity had good potential.

good but nothing like the first series still a very good watch.......

I really enjoyed Season 1, but found season 2 to be nowhere near as good. Not sure if they changed writers or director, but the whole feel of it was different.
