I’ve watched the first two episodes and will watch number 3 tonight. Absolutely fascinating series. Thanks for drawing it to our attention.Just been a cracking doc ( part one of four ) on BBC 2 mate - a House Through Time.
All about - the occupants and lives of 58 Faulkner St, L8, from the time it was built in the 1840`s to present time.
Fascinating stuff.

I wonder how they chose that house. It really is that good, makes you wonder why it hasn`t been done before ?
I wonder how they chose that house.
I guess that the house would attract a lot of interest from sightseers so it might not be the best place to live in the future. They obviously couldn’t have done extensive research on the occupants of lots of houses so did they get lucky with the rich history or would most of the houses have such a colourful past. They use that area extensively for filming and pay mega bucks for use of the houses in period stuff and films.
I`m assuming they canvassed the area and thought that one was the most suitable.
Oh and it`s also up for sale now on the back of the programme - half a mil.
Twenty years ago, there`d have been prozzies on that street and the houses were full of smak heads bedsits lol
