Started watching Sons of Anarchy now, up to episode 4 of the first series, what a brutal bunch. Not up to the quality of Dexter/Breaking Bad just yet but still pretty good so far.

Enjoy it while it lasts mate, it goes seriously downhill. Such a shame because the 1st season or 2 really are quite good.

Listen , Lads, I'm not gonna watch a six week marathon of Battle of the Planets or any other kids stuff ffs.

I want gritty drama, pref with a bit of casual nudity (superb back boob in The Shield S01 Ep03), and a hero that's a bit of a tw@ that we should all hate really.

Are we to assume you've already seen The Sopranos ???

Sorry mate, but Dexter shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath as Breaking Bad. It's good, but nowhere close to BB standard

The one thing BB has over Dexter is that I think Dexter had a couple of average series, haven't see the final series yet, whereas I wouldn't say BB had any right the way through to the end. Both top top shows though.

All opinions, obviously, but I'd say even at its height, Dexter (while still a good show) never got close to the heights Breaking Bad reached.

Not a bad shout that mate, checked it out and ended up watching the full first series(4 episodes) one after the other.

Starting season 2 tonight.Nice one!
